Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Mental Health Nurse to join our Community Mental Health Team based at Easington Village to support adults living with mental health needs. The service offers assessment and treatment within the community setting with a strong emphasis on recovery .

This post is only open to those candidates who already have their NMC registration in place .Please note: Newly qualified applicants or those due to qualify will be recruited via a separate process.

Main duties of the job

Within the Easington Community Intervention team we have mixed roles, from Triage, Telephone and Face to Face Assessments, One to One governed interventions and delivering groups.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to develop into a community role within a team of supportive and experienced professionals. You will demonstrate excellent assessment skills, interpersonal, and team working skills and be able to work collaboratively with a range of statutory and third sector agencies.
