We are looking for nurses that are able to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team, are caring and kind and who wish to develop their clinical and leadership skills. Main duties of the job

The post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidenced-based nursing care, working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.

Assist in the management and organisation of their clinical area andparticipating in the education, development and supervision of other staff members.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications and/or Knowledge

Essential

  • NMC registered

Desirable

  • Evidence of post registration study and training, e.g. Awareness of safeguarding Intermediate Life Support

Experience

Essential

  • Pre-registration evidence in direct nursing care
  • Experience of providing holistic nursing care
  • Interest in developing nursing skills

Desirable

  • Clear understanding of clinical governance framework
  • Implement evidence-based practice

Aptitude and Abilities

Essential

  • Clear understanding of contract of care
  • Ability to document details clearly and accurately
  • Clear understanding of consent process
  • Basic IT skills
