Are you an experienced orthopaedic nurse with a passion for innovation, technology, and patient-centred care? We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Specialist Orthopaedic Nurse to support the development and delivery of a digitally supported service for patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery across Arrowe Park and Clatterbridge Hospitals.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will:

Collaborate with orthopaedic consultants in a variety of settings, including inpatient wards and outpatient departments.

Lead and deliver nurse-led clinics to support patients in their post-operative recovery.

Use and help shape digital platforms to improve communication, monitoring, and follow-up care for orthopaedic patients.

Contributeto audits, and participate in teaching to ensure our service remains evidence-based and forward-thinking.

Play a key role in the ongoing evaluation and refinement of our digitally enabled pathways.

The successful candidate will have:

Significant experience in elective orthopaedics.

Proven ability to work independently and manage a specialist caseload.

Strong IT skills and confidence in using digital tools in clinical practice.

A working knowledge of digital health platforms.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and delivering outstanding care.
