Job summary

Under the direction of the team leader, the Anaesthetic & Recovery ODP/Nurse is accountable for organising and providing nursing care in the perioperative setting. They will work to support the Anaesthetic team to develop and maintain excellence in perioperative practice.

You will also be the link between the Anaesthetic team and other parts of the operating theatre and hospital.

The successful candidate would be expected to work as part of the team to deliver high standards of patient care responsive to patient’s needs. There would be an expectation that you would be flexible and able to work to work a variety of shifts days, nights and weekends in order to accommodate the needs of the service.

The post holder will possess the ability to be able to work alone and with the wider supporting team, and work collaboratively with external agencies. You will be expected to demonstrate and role model the utmost professional standards.

We have 2 part time posts 26.6 hours and 19 hours per week
