Are you passionate about ICU (Intensive Care Unit) – Critical Care Nursing ? We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic and supportive ICU-critical care nursing team, you will be an excellent communicator and have a positive attitude towards flexibility and change. Interpersonal skills are essential and you will be an asset to the team demonstrating the ability to be forward thinking and passionate about delivering high standards of care. You will provide high quality, patient centred care to critically ill patients requiring level 2 & level 3 support in line with GPICS standards.

The role is suitable for Band 5 nurses who have experience in acute ward with an interest in Critical Care. A structured induction and ongoing education programme will be provided to support development.

It is a really exciting time to be joining our Intensive Care unit-Critical Care team as we recently moved to brand new facilities as part of a £168.8m capital scheme – the new ICU will be able to accommodate up to 22 patients in a modern spacious environment with up to date technology supporting the nursing team to deliver excellent care – so come and join us !

We are a member of the East of England Critical Care Network and participate in Intensive Care National Audit & Research Centre so we can help to contribute to improving outcomes in critical care.

Main duties of the job

As an ICU Nurse, you will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care, ensuring highest level of customer service is delivered to patients.
