Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our dedicatedGynaecology team at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, this post is full time but part time hours may be considered. It is a fixed term post for 12 months.The post requires internal rotation between days and nights and weekends.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated nurse with a passion for women’s health to provide high-quality nursing care to patients admitted for elective Gynae-Oncology procedures as well as those presenting with acutegynaecologicalemergencies. You will play a key role in supporting patients throughout their surgical journey, delivering safe, evidence-basedcare,and promoting a positive patient experience.

Within the ward there is alsoanEarly Pregnancy Unit,GynaecologyAssessmentUnit,andpre-opassessment unit, which will requireempathetic, patient-centredcare in often sensitive situations.
