Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a specialist nurse with TB experience and clinical knowledge of working with clients with TB.
The team provides Nurse Led clinics and a range of services to patients referred into them from GP’s and Hospital teams, including, Contact tracing, DOT & TB screening. You will also work alongside a team of Respiratory Consultants and in Conjunction with other Nurse Specialists who may be based at different locations
Main duties of the job
- Working with a team of specialist nurses whilst managing your own case load, you will be motivated, forward thinking and able to plan and prioritize care for patients with complex health care needs.
- Naturally, you will need to be flexible, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team based within the Community at Shrewsbury Road Healthcare Centre.

- Relevant Degree
- Teaching / mentoring course

- 5 years Post Registration Exp. Including 4 years recent acute / working in TB care

- Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate TB care delivered to patients and give relevant advice / information to patients and relatives.

- Excellent Communication skills- Verbal, Non-verbal and written
- Experienced in Mantoux testing & results interpretation
- Ability to work independently & with others
