Job summary
The Emergency Department at Royal Stoke is seeking a motivated and innovative Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to join our dynamic team. As part of the Unplanned Care Group and a designated Major Trauma Centre, the department offers a fast-paced, challenging and rewarding environment with excellent opportunities to develop clinical expertise and leadership skills. We are looking for a compassionate, quality-driven nurse who can deliver high standards of care, work confidently in a rapidly changing setting and contribute to the supervision and development of junior staff while supporting improvements that enhance patient experience and reflect Trust values. The post holder will lead initial patient assessment, ensure safe and effective care pathways, and take charge of designated areas, managing admissions, discharges and transfers to maintain flow. They will help introduce new ways of working and promote a positive, collaborative team culture.
