An exciting opportunity has become available to be part of a growing, vibrant team within the West Cumberland Hospital Emergency Department. We are seeking to recruit Registered Nurses (Adult), with active NMC registration to work within our Emergency Department.
We provide a 24 hour service to members of the public who require emergency treatment of acute injuries or illness. The department seeks to provide a high quality, safe and supportive environment to all patient groups in which their identified physical and psycho-social needs can be met.
Main duties of the job
You will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care, providing the prescribed nursing care without supervision. You will also contribute to the development and evaluation of nursing practice within the department and ward area, as well as providing nursing care in accordance with local policies, procedures and guidelines and comply with NMC code of professional conduct.
