Main duties of the job

We are looking to appoint a CAMHS Clinician on a fixed term basis. This CAMHS team is a dynamic team that is comprised of CAMHS clinicians with varying professional backgrounds, enabling us to provide high-quality holistic mental health care to the children and young people accessing our services.

The successful applicant will work with the MDT to provide assessment and intervention to children and young people. As part of the MDT, we will provide ongoing support to the successful applicant through supervision and talent management.

We are a forward thinking, creative team that encourages all team members to share their ideas to improve our service for young people and their families. The role of the CAMHS clinician is crucial in young peoples recovery and improving outcomes. The successful applicant could have skills in delivering a therapy, non-medical prescribing or have experience in providing nursing or Mental Health interventions, risk management or care co-ordination.
