Main duties of the job
Supported by our experienced Outpatient Manager Debbie, you will ensure that arrangements are in place to facilitate a smooth pre and post-operative course, including a well-planned discharge. This will include taking full medical histories, carrying out patient assessments, ensuring that they are medically fit for surgery and working closely with the anaesthetic team. You’ll work four 9.5 hour shifts a week including occasional weekends. There are no nights and the department closes at 18.00.
