The Havering Mental Health & Wellness Team (MH&WT) Central is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Community Mental Health Nurse to join our dynamic and supportive multi-disciplinary team.

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate professional with substantial experience in mental health services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, along with a sound understanding of evidence-based practice within theRecovery Model of care.

As part of our newly established Mental Wellness Teams, the successful applicant will work collaboratively with a diverse range of professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred mental health care within the community.

Main duties of the job

You will be working as an integral member of our multi-disciplinary team, coordinating a caseload of service users with complex and challenging needs. In your role as a nurse, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to delivering both physical and mental health interventions that support holistic recovery.

We are seeking a candidate with strong IT skills and experience using electronic patient record systems. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to the evolving demands of the service are essential.

Collaboration is central to this role; you will work closely with colleagues across disciplines and partner agencies to deliver recovery-focused health and social care interventions, ensuring effective risk management and the safeguarding of vulnerable adults.

The successful candidate will also be expected to provide managerial/clinical supervision to junior staff, mentor multi-disciplinary students, and contribute to ongoing educational and research initiatives within the team.
