Job summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a 4.5 month secondment to join the Children and Young Person’s Oncology Neuro-Oncology team.
We are a well-established and supportive team who provide a high standard of clinical care for Oncology patients. The Neuro Oncology service compromises of a dedicated MDT that offers a regional service to patients across the North East.
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual, previous oncology knowledge and experience would be beneficial, however, support and education will be in place for the successful candidate.
The role will be to support service delivery to neuro-oncology tumour patients and coordinating care whilst developing skills.
You will gain a valuable insight into supporting patients and their families at diagnosis and through their cancer pathway, on and post treatment and when disease recurs or advances. This is an emotionally challenging role which will require a resilient individual.
