Job summary

Do you have a clinical skills qualification, experience of working within an A&E, urgent treatment unit or minor injuries unit?

We have a vacancy for an Emergency Nurse Practitioner working in Minor Injuries Unit within Berwick Infirmary Community Hospital. This is a Nurse led unit with daily support from our local GP practice. The development within this role aims for the practitioner to be autonomous in their practice.

There would be an opportunity to upgrade to B7 following successful completion on competencies including non-medical prescribing.

Annex 20This post falls within the provisions of Agenda for Change Annex 20 – Development of Professional Roles, whereby upon completion of an agreed set of competencies you may move onto the next pay band without the need for an application for a post at a higher level.
