Main duties of the job

Main duties include:
- Assess the care needs of patients and develop a programme of evidence based practice care which is evaluated and amended as appropriate without direct supervision.
- To maintain clinical competence through CPD and mandatory training requirements.
- To ensure clear and timely record keeping of all assessments and care provided.
- Maintain good communication with patients and their relatives including the MDT.
- Utilise, maintain and understand NUH evidence based policies and guidelines to ensure safety of care.
Qualifications
Essential
- NMC Adult registered nurse with PIN / completing study within 6 months awaiting PIN- newly qualified nurse
Experience

- Delivering care to a group of patients
- Supervision of non registered staff and students
- Competent in medicines management
