The Palliative Care Service works alongside other Specialist Nursing Services including Children’s Complex Care and Special School Nursing teams. As part of the palliative care nursing team you will participate in the on call to provide end of life care to the children and young people requiring it If you have a passion for ensuring that CYP and their family are well supported at home during the palliative and terminal phase of their care and have the necessary knowledge and skills as identified in the person specification, then we would be very interested in receiving an application from you. This role will also enable you to further enhance your leadership and management skills within a supportive and experienced team. If you are registered Children’s Nurse or Adult Nurse and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to be a team player, as well as the initiative to work autonomously and effectively this could be the challenge for you.
